| Graphite
in Water Lubricants |
| This family of AMLUBE products is
formulated to provide lubrication and protection during hot and warm
forming operations by effectively wetting out dies, billets, and
performs even at elevated temperatures. The result is extended die life,
increased productivity, reduction in rejects, and enhanced quality. We
can also formulate a lubricant to suit your specific need and optimize
your operation. Consult with your sales agent to choose the right AMLUBE
product for your application. |

| Graphite/Synthetic
Lubricants |
| This family of synthetic lubricants
containing graphite was developed for applications with metal movement
too severe for traditional synthetic lubricants, while helping to
maintain a cleaner plant environment and cleaner finished parts than
traditional graphite lubricants. AMLUBE graphite/synthetic lubricants
wet out tool surfaces over a wide temperature range, providing effective
lubrication and superior release which results in longer tool life. They
all have the following characteristics: improved metal flow and
fill over traditional synthetic lubricants, reduced graphite level
compared to conventional graphite lubricants, cleaner than traditional
graphite lubricants, excellent spray-out properties over a wide
temperature range, and easy to clean with soap and water. |

Based Synthetic Lubricants |
| These non-corrosive, non-graphited, warm
and hot metalforming lubricants were designed for use on hammers and
presses as an alternative to graphite lubricants to maintain a cleaner
plant environment and cleaner finished parts. They eliminate build up on
presses and dies while delivering effective lubrication and superior
release by wetting out tool surfaces over a wide temperature range.
AMLUBE synthetic lubricants are completely water soluble and so are
non-settling. They don't need agitation once mixed, and won't plug up
spray nozzles. These lubricants can be easily sprayed or swabbed onto
the tooling or workpiece. With the exception of AMLUBE 190, AMLUBE
synthetics are not damaged by freezing and simply need to be thawed
before use if frozen. All are, non toxic, smokeless, odorless,
non-flammable, easy to clean up with soap and water and no mixing after
initial dilution. |

| Glass
Precoats |
| AMLUBE water-based, unleaded glass precoats
insulate, protect, and lubricate the workpiece during forging,
extrusion, rolling, and other metalforming operations. The glass frits
fuse in the furnace as the workpiece heats up, forming a continuous,
viscous fluid film to protect the metal. The film's insulating
properties ensure better metal flow and longer working time by keeping
the heat in the workpiece. As the glass flows with the metal, providing
hydrodynamic lubrication, the continuous film protects the surface from
oxidation and contamination with other gases present in the furnace and
forming atmosphere. The resulting reduced friction and lower die
pressures mean increased die life, better surface finish, and quality
parts. |
